G4X WIRE-IN ENGINE MANAGEMENT

LINK FuryX Standalone ECU & Wiring Harness

A configurable standalone engine management package for demanding road and motorsport builds. Source the FuryX controller with the A and B wiring looms your installation requires, then confirm the engine, sensors and calibration plan before ordering.

WHY FURY X

Engine control with wideband feedback built in

The LINK FuryX is a wire-in ECU: it takes over the configured engine-control functions through a correctly designed harness and a professional calibration. Unlike a piggyback controller, it is not a plug-in upgrade for every vehicle with a compatible cylinder count.

LINK specifies eight injector drives, six ignition drives, an onboard digital wideband lambda controller and 512 MB of onboard logging for the G4X FuryX. These resources are useful when a build needs measured air–fuel feedback, detailed fault review and room to plan additional engine-control functions. Check LINK’s FuryX specification ↗

VERIFIED HARDWARE OVERVIEW

FuryX inputs, outputs and connections

Figures below describe LINK’s G4X FuryX specification. Confirm the exact revision and supplied parts against the quotation.

01 / INJECTION

8 injector drives

Supports up to six cylinders with sequential injection and direct spark in the configuration described by LINK. More cylinders can require a different injection and ignition strategy.

02 / IGNITION

6 ignition drives

Confirm coil arrangement, triggers and any external ignition hardware with the installer. Eight injector drives do not mean eight independent ignition drives.

03 / LAMBDA

Onboard wideband controller

One LSU 4.9 wideband sensor input is specified. The oxygen sensor and its wiring must be checked as separate line items in the package.

04 / DATA

512 MB onboard logging

Record supported operating channels for troubleshooting and calibration, then review data through the compatible LINK software.

05 / INPUTS

Sensor and knock inputs

LINK lists 9 analogue, 4 temperature, 2 trigger and 2 knock inputs, plus 8 or 10 digital inputs depending on second-CAN allocation.

06 / COMMUNICATION

CAN, serial and USB

Up to two CAN buses are listed, with two digital input pins used by the second CAN bus; serial and USB tuning connections are also specified.

CONTROLLER + HARNESS

The wiring package is selected for the vehicle

LINK states that FuryX requires both A and B looms, or the corresponding A and B connector kits; those items are not included with the standard ECU package described by LINK. LikedLinking can supply the FuryX controller and arrange matching A and B harness options as part of a confirmed project quotation.

  • Controller only: for workshops building their own loom.
  • Controller + A/B looms: for projects that need flying-lead wiring.
  • Configured harness request: quote against connector types, branch lengths, sensors and vehicle details.

The images are product illustrations; they do not replace a pinout, wiring diagram or harness acceptance check.

BEFORE WE QUOTE

Send the vehicle and engine information first

A wire-in ECU is selected from the engine’s actual fuel, ignition, trigger and auxiliary requirements. These four items help us quote a practical controller and harness package.

  1. Vehicle and engine: make, model, year, engine code and cylinder/rotor layout.
  2. Engine hardware: injectors, coils, trigger pattern, induction type and desired functions.
  3. Electrical system: factory ECU/other modules retained, CAN needs and sensor inventory.
  4. Supply scope: ECU only, A/B looms, connector kits or a custom harness; quantity and destination.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

FuryX ordering FAQs

Does the FuryX include its wiring harness?

LINK lists A and B looms or connector kits as required items that are not supplied with its standard FuryX ECU package. LikedLinking can quote the ECU together with matching wiring; request an itemised list.

Can FuryX control an eight-cylinder engine?

Its eight injector drives do not provide eight independent ignition drives. LINK specifies six ignition drives and up to six cylinders with sequential injection and direct spark. Discuss any alternative eight-cylinder control strategy with the installer, or evaluate XtremeX when eight independent ignition drives are required.

Is FuryX a plug-and-play ECU for my vehicle?

FuryX is a wire-in standalone ECU. Harness routing, factory systems, sensors, triggers and calibration must be reviewed for the specific vehicle.

Does the onboard wideband function include an oxygen sensor?

The ECU has the controller input, but do not assume a sensor is included. Confirm the sensor, connector and wiring as separate items in the quotation.

Can I buy a controller before deciding on the harness?

Ask for a controller-only quote and share the planned engine and wiring scope. The installer should still confirm ECU revision and pin allocation before purchasing any separate A/B looms.
