GReddy e-Manage Ultimate Piggyback ECU

Fuel, ignition and airflow signal tuning

GReddy e-Manage Ultimate Piggyback ECU

The GReddy e-Manage Ultimate is a programmable piggyback ECU for selected engine tuning projects that retain the factory ECU. It can adjust relevant injector, ignition and airflow signals through a verified installation and calibration plan.

LikedLinking can discuss the controller and an appropriate wiring arrangement for the actual vehicle. A Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki or Daihatsu badge alone does not establish fitment.

System role

What does the e-Manage Ultimate control?

The GReddy e-Manage Ultimate works alongside the original vehicle ECU. According to TRUST’s published product information, its maps and settings cover injector correction, ignition correction, airflow signal compensation and selected auxiliary functions. Available functions depend on how the controller is wired, the original sensors and trigger signals, optional parts and the software setup. It is not a universal plug-and-play ECU and is not a standalone replacement for the factory controller.

For a turbo conversion or performance street project, a qualified tuner should review the fuel system, injectors, ignition strategy and sensor data together. A controller provides calibration tools; it does not create a guaranteed power increase on its own.

Verified feature groups

Fuel, ignition and signal adjustment

Injector correction

Fuel injection can be increased or decreased through injector correction maps, including acceleration and individual-cylinder strategies where the installation supports them. Larger injectors still require a correct starting calibration.

Ignition correction

Ignition timing correction can use crank and cam angle information. Acceleration, temperature and individual-cylinder corrections are among the published functions. Trigger compatibility and safe calibration must be checked.

Airflow and auxiliary signals

Airflow voltage or frequency, boost limiter related settings, engine-stall prevention and selected output strategies are described by TRUST. The supported method varies with the vehicle and optional components.

The official documentation also lists data logging with a minimum 20 ms sampling interval, USB communication, switch and option ports, and a speed-limiter feature that excludes some models. We confirm these items against the exact supplied controller, software and application rather than promising every function for every vehicle.

Japanese vehicle projects

Can it be used on Toyota, Honda, Nissan and other makes?

Enquiries often involve Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Mazda, Suzuki and Daihatsu vehicles. These are project and search categories, not a blanket compatibility claim. The exact engine code, year, original ECU, injector and ignition design, airflow sensor and harness determine whether an e-Manage Ultimate installation can be planned.

Examples of questions we review

  • Toyota: original ECU identification, airflow sensing and VVT-i related requirements.
  • Honda: engine and ECU code, injector signals and any VTEC-related requirement.
  • Nissan: airflow measurement, ignition signals and applicable NVCS strategy.
  • Mitsubishi, Subaru and Mazda: trigger, sensor and fuel-control details for the exact engine.
  • Suzuki and Daihatsu: connector, ECU and engine data before discussing installation.

Send the vehicle details

  1. Make, model, production year and market.
  2. Engine code and whether it is naturally aspirated or boosted.
  3. Factory ECU part number and clear connector photographs.
  4. Injector, ignition and airflow sensor details.
  5. Requested functions and existing modifications.
  6. Controller, harness and accessory items required.

What is included?

Controller, harness, software and accessories

A GReddy e-Manage Ultimate controller, an installation harness, an adapter or vehicle-specific wiring solution and optional sensors are different line items. The screenshots provided show controller images and examples with a loom and packaging; they do not prove that every quoted unit includes the same parts. We will state the controller condition, included wiring, connector arrangement, software route and accessories in the quotation.

TRUST’s product page notes that the unit needs PC setup and that software is available for download. The official listed software environment is for older Windows versions and does not support 64-bit editions in its published requirements. Buyers should check their computer and tuning support before ordering. Review TRUST’s official product information.

Choosing the architecture

e-Manage Ultimate or a standalone ECU?

Choose the GReddy e-Manage Ultimate when the project can retain the original ECU and the required fuel, ignition and signal corrections are achievable with the verified hardware and wiring. A standalone ECU is a separate architecture for a build that needs broader direct engine control and a dedicated wire-in plan. If the requested function or factory system is unclear, start with the engine details rather than assuming either controller will fit.

Related options include our Universal Piggyback ECU, AEM F/IC-8 JSCHIP Piggyback ECU and ECU Wiring Harnesses. An AEM wideband air fuel ratio gauge can provide mixture measurements during qualified calibration.

Buyer questions

GReddy e-Manage Ultimate FAQ

Will it fit every Toyota, Honda or Nissan?

No. Brand names only describe possible enquiry groups. We check the exact engine, factory ECU, sensor and wiring arrangement before confirming a suitable plan.

Is the e-Manage Ultimate a standalone ECU?

No. It is a piggyback controller intended to work with the original ECU. Its installation modifies selected signals and functions.

Does the pictured wiring harness come with the controller?

Not necessarily. We confirm the exact contents, harness type and accessories in the quotation.

Can it support turbo projects?

It may be part of a planned turbo application. The fuel system, ignition, pressure signals, hardware and calibration must be reviewed together.
